We have unique experience with and understanding of healthcare information technology (HIT) and HIT standards.
Beginning with populating and maintaining the National Alliance for Health Information Technology’s
standards database in 2003 through recent research projects for the Office of the National Coordinator
defining key HIT terms (EHR, EMR, PHR, RHIO and HIE), we have followed and been involved with HIT development:
We populated and maintained a database covering over 300 healthcare organizations and 1200 health information standards gathered from thousands of web and print-based sources
We compiled a database of funded Regional Health Information Organizations.
We identified the most influential hospital systems within the American Hospital Association and the components of those systems.
We re-worked and edited the Federal Commission on Systematic Interoperability’s report, Ending the Documents Game.
|
Our editing of the National Alliance for Health Information Technology’s CPOE Implementation Guidebook removed unnecessary technical language
and made the handbook practical for healthcare information technology providers with little or no technological background.
"I'm amazed by the change you brought to the material. You are truly an advocate for the reader."
--John Morrissey, Director of Knowledge, National Alliance for Health Information Technology
